looks like i'm headed to paris in..
not that i'm counting,
213 days.
two hundred and thirteen days.
for 3 months!
i am so excited.
originally, i didn't think finances would allow a study abroad to happen.
i was planning on an internship.
then, the adorable old man in charge of the study abroad emailed me and asked if i wanted an interview.
i hadn't even applied.
finances were looking quite sunny, so i just kinda went for it.
thank goodness.
bam! accepted.
so. why do i love paris?
time for a walk down memory lane.
(hooray! more pictures!)
1. paris is beautiful. and oh, so charming.
2. the food. i don't think there's such a thing as bad food in paris.
beignets. i'm coming for you, baby. <3
my favorite place in the world, that's all.
even mcdonalds is classy in france.
for real. we ate there. proof!
3. i'm basically famous in france.
just my ancestors room in the louvre.
boucher. c'est moi!
4. i'm a fan of trains, train stations and metros.
and fiats. what? (inside joke.)
(yes, i have inside jokes with my parents.)
dont judge. they're cool.
i am so so so so so thrilled.
however, i will miss these guys immensely:
dont worry, mom and dad! i'll drink tons of hot chocolate for you. <3
oh crap. im going to get fat off of hot chocolate.
probably worth it.
213 days, guys.
213! <3

OUUUUUUUUTSTANDING! SOOOOOO excited for you- when do you leave (my math is fuzzy!) and where will you study! YAY YOU!
ReplyDeleteThe program starts the 14th of september, so i'll leave the 12th, i think. I'll be staying with a host family somewhere in Paris. My art history class will be taught in museums and some of my french 202 class will be as well. Then i'll have a religion class in the lds institute building and i think i'll have a french conversation class there as well. ALSO, i'll have a "paris walks" class, which is basically just going out and walking around paris, looking at cool stuff. Hooray!
