f words.

calm down.
while this post will contain a few f words...
i promise it will be completely family friendly. <--- see what i did there? f words.
so; f words.
  • fall
  • family
  • fhe
  • funny prayers
  • freakingawesomenewonedirectionsongs....i'm pretty sure thats one word, anyway.
  • free food
  • finallyididmydishes
now, for some explanations.

1. fall. i love it.  the colorful leaves, its not too hot outside (sorry mom.)
    • wait. there was no pessimism/sarcasm in the above information?  seriously. i just love fall.
2. i'm not going to lie; as far as families go, mine is pretty attractive. and i love them. and i love that every time i go home they give me food, and that i call them at least 5 times a day. at least. and i love that my dad sleeps with my stuffed animal because he misses me so much, and i love that he still puts up a barricade of workout equipment to keep me safe in the basement when i go home for the night. and i love that my mom and i have the exactsamebrain and are always on the same page. and i love that my brothers get so excited when i come home. and i love my dog.

3.  oh my friends. do i have a story for you:
once upon a time, my ward ward decided to combine family home evening with another ward, and finally we had a week without game night.
instead, the wards decided, hey, pumkin carving would be a great idea.
and it was. kailey carved her first pumkin. after brainstorming with her roommate, they decided that the carving had to be of food, since that is the base of their friendship.
thus, a cupcake they carved.
it was a freaking cupcake, (with a cherry, and  a stem. admirable details!) not a house. okay!?
(and also a witches hat, because, why the heck not!?)
(that night, certain boys learned never to insult kaileys carving skills.)
(ever.)
later that night, the cupcake carving won 'the unicorn award.'
wait. what? this freaking masterpiece of beauty clearly deserved best in show!
fear not: kailey had a pencil and scribbled out the unicorn ridiculosity, (yes. i did make that word up just now), and wrote down it's rightful title of "best in show!"
***
later that night
as kailey and kassidy left, the silly boys who think they won best in show, and were given a tv by the people in charge of pumkin awards were having some problems fitting the dinosaur sized 800 year old tv into their car. (please excuse my hyperbolity. another word i just made up.)
kailey to the rescue. thats right: i offered to drive their tv home.
and in return?
"thanks guys! you should come over and we'll let you watch 4 movies with us on our new tv sometime"
end of story.
the moral of the story? if you offer to drive someones tv home for them, you might get invited to some social activities. maybe four.

you probably want to see pictures of me, my pumpkin, and beautiful fall leaves. here you go:
4. the prayer giver at fhe decided to throw in a "thanks for letting us have such wonderful social activities to enjoy each others company."
  • wait. people enjoy social activities?
  • wait. what?
i may have giggled.
okay fine. maybe it was more than a giggle.
i refuse to own up to the snort that may have escaped me.

the last 3 f words from the list are fairly self explanatory.

hopefully this post has taught you a few things:
  • i'm a master pumpkin carver.
  • you should always offer to drive peoples tvs home for them.
  • one directions new song is out and you should listen to it.
  • "f word" shouldnt have such a negative connotation.
  •  kailey is less than capable of coherent story writing at almost midnight. (sorry guys.)
  • kailey's bedtime is right around almost midnight.
for real though. it's time for kailey to go to bed.

some parting words of advice:

maybe start your own blog? its cool. i promise.
take advantage of free food.
share free food with kailey.
always keep 4 back up chapsticks in near proximity.
dont forget to bring a jacket to campus when its cold out.
pumpkins are a lot harder to carve than they look.
stay cute.
keep being rock stars.
keep reading my blog.

hasta luego, mes amis.
