**i would just like to preface this post by saying: hey, sorry if this is hard to follow or doesn't make sense, i just finished prison break, and i'm a bit....emotional. (to say the least.)
i've received a couple of "hey, hurry up and write a new blog post" comments over the past couple of days... because of my current emotional instability, i'm not 100% capable of spewing anything particularly coherent, so how about we just take a quick look inside the mind of little miss me?
here are some random thoughts/notable moments from: kailey's first week of college.
people make me...work makes me...driving makes me...homework makes me...- ....what doesnt make me anxious?
- i had a nice little chat with my deaf (dead? megan.) asl teacher. you know, the one who brought skittles for the class, gave us a ten minute break and let us out early. adoreadoreadoreadore.
- no, really. how, exactly, does one go about "making friends" ? this is a foreign concept to me.
- oh, really, your mom lived in quebec for a month, so you're very passionate about french?
- maybe that was during the 3 years i lived there?
- guys. i dont care how smart you think you are, nobody likes a show off. let's all eat a piece of humble pie, and realize you're not gods greatest gift to the world.
- on a serious note, if you'd like to learn more about gods greatest gift to the world, lds.org would be a great place to start!
- the whole "troy told kailey to apply for boostability and she just happened to get a great job" thing, was just super convenient. thanks, troy! (in hopes that someday he reads that.) (or i could just tell him.) (you know, since i work with him, at the job he basically got me.) (nah. talking to people gives me anxiety.)
- dances? what? it's not that i can't dance, it's just...wait, how do people freaking do that with their bodies!?
- i work in french. correcting french articles. this should not be a surprise to me. while i was reading one of those articles today, i had the sudden realization: this is written in french! good morning, kailey. nice to see you've joined us on planet earth.
- trail mix is great. pineapple is great. avocados are heavenly little things. dried coconut is a yes. but grocery shopping for myself? uhhh....
- if byu is going to have cinque terre-like stairs, (look it up. beautiful.) why can't they also have cinque terre-like food!? really guys, someone open up a gelato/pesto/pizza shop. grazie.
- ohhh myyy goshhh. midnight memories. november 25th. i'm dying.
- 'what sucks most about sharing an apartment with paper thin walls?' you might be wondering. answer: an unfortunate lack of opportunities to sing your little lungs out. (not that that stops certain roommates as they shower, just saying.)
- seriously though. 7 foot tall thor cut out? needs to go. **contact me if you're interested in stealing a cardboard thor. i'm sure we could work something out. **
- prison break makes doing bad things look so fun. all i want out of life is to run from the law with micheal scofeild. is that a problem? that's probably a problem.
- ice cream? ice cream. i could really go for ice cream right about now.
- wait. its payday!? .....money? never heard of it.
- yes, hannah, i did take my freaking dress off after church last week and changed into sweats. told you so.
- zupas. i could also really go for a pesto right about now.
- i need pepper spray. i swear, everyone i see is a potential rapist, and i feel like, maybe, pepper spray could bring me some peace of mind?
- it's 1am. why am i starving?
- good thing i already brushed my teeth.
- actually; good thing all the ice cream shops are closed.
- i can almost find all my classes without a map now. (almost.)
- let's throw in a random hello to denver!
- the fact that my parents text me every time they hear one direction on the radio basically proves how great they are.
- getting an iphone tomorrow? too bad they don't come in blue....goodbye, little windows phone. it's been real.
- let's just all appreciate the fact that i live in provo, and i go to byu.
